Sulilaran School

Sulilaran Primary School’s 134 students were being taught in open shacks and falling down buildings. There were no toilets.  

On Friday November 8, 2024, we officially opened a new 4 classroom and teachers’ room building with 5 toilets and handwashing facilities.  The total cost was US$60,000.We also provided furniture for all of the classrooms and gave a backpack filled with stationery and toiletries to each of the children and planted 30 fruit and frangipani trees. 

Special thanks to the fabulous Raise it Up Party in Perth which raised over half of the money required to build this school. The rest of the funds were provided by the families, individuals and groups which are Spend it Well’s donors.
