Agostinho has taken on the project with a passion and has obtained a quote for $ US15, 000 for a contractor to build the school.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, with the worst wet season in almost 10 years, roads are still impassable and Simon hasn&#8217;t been able to get out to look at other likely sites.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, one of my good friends Eliza, who lives in Dubai, called to say that she and another friend Megan had decided they&#8217;d like to arrange a fund raising party for East Timor. It seemed like a perfect match to me &#8211; a project with an achievable target and a party which could raise a lot of money.
